09/11 H E I M session vol. 14
« British food and organ concert ». Sounds intriguing?
Then come to H E I M this Friday to find out how these two match. Our guest chef, Henrik Rettrup, takes you on a pub adventure: home made black pudding, lots of beer and much more (stout preferably). We all know about Guinness, but did you know that Sweden too has a long beer tradition? No need to remind you of Åre Bryggcompagni Jemtehed & Brande Bakgården i Revsund beers that you can find at H E I M.
At 19.00, while enjoying the food and beer, Ulf Samuelsson, one of Swedens most famous Bach interpreter, will be performing an organ concert. Ulf Samuelsson was born 1959 in Umnäs, Lapland, and has studied at the church music line at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Since August 2008, he is once again active as church musician in the S: ta Eugenia Catholic Assembly in Stockholm, and also music consultant for Stockholm’s Catholic Foundation. With his choirs Ulf Samuelsson has played a lot and has given concerts in Westminster Cathedral and St. Paul Cathedral in London, Riga Cathedral, Aachen Cathedral and St. Sulpice in Paris.
Bach and beer: sounds like a fun night ahead!
Drop in for tasty pintxos (vegan options as well), small cold and hot dishes or just a glass of natural wine, local beer, kok coffee & Brunkullans te. Great music in a cozy atmosphere.
